Some carpets dry faster than others. Synthetic Nylon, Polypropylene and Triexta carpets and also commercial carpet tiles are faster drying. This is attributed to the fiber type absorbing very little moisture if any at all.

Woolen carpets may take longer to dry since the protein fibers can absorb moisture during the cleaning and they also have the ability to hold more soils.

Drying conditions such as ventilation, temperature, mechanical drying systems can decrease or increase drying times.

The soil content in the carpets also influence drying as heaver soiled carpets may require more moisture to remove the soils.

Average drying times are between 2 Hours and a day. EcoSan can supply drying equipment to force dry the carpets if required.
